Birth Preparation (Antenatal Education)
Childbirth Preparation courses are held each month throughout the year. This course has a program of four sessions, encompassing body, mind & spirit; and includes antenatal breastfeeding education. CEA members: $130 (per person) $250 (per couple).
Non members: $160 (per person).
Preparing For Birth
Participants of the Birth Preparation course receive a copy of the birth guide ‘Preparing for Birth’, by Andrea Robertson. This guidebook covers all aspects of pregnancy, labour, birth, positions, self-help techniques and includes a detailed guide to obstetric medications and interventions. Early breastfeeding and postnatal recovery are also covered.
